I'd had the opportunity to use a friends Nakaya over an extended time before finally getting my own, this model was my choice after careful consideration of size and weight across the models. The pen is large but light and beautifully balanced. The broad nib writes as well as I'd hoped with a moderate flow and a similar line width to a broad Platinum President nib or medium Pilot nib. The finish and looks are exquisite, as you'd hope.
