Namiki Yukari Urushi Lacquer Vermilion No.20 Fountain Pen in nº20 vermilion.
The workshop that finishes these pens is Kokkokai formed in 1931 around Gonroku Matsuda who went on to be named a living national treasure and whose name or that of the individual artisan is inscribed on the piece. The lacquer is applied by hand with the tame-nuri technique, so each piece is unique in its grain. A Namiki nib in 18k gold and a screw-on cap. The piece measures 149 mm capped with a body 14.9 mm in diameter. The clip is gold. Hand-made piece, with official Namiki warranty.
Simplicity and classic design are synonymous with the Namiki Yukari Royale Urushi Vermilion Fountain Pen. With a larger pen body than the traditional one, this fountain pen is adorned with multiple layers of Urushi lacquer and embellished with 18-carat gold details. A traditional oriental wooden gift box with an inkwell completes the presentation of this piece.

Le contrôle qualité de Namiki (et d’Iguana Sell avant l’envoi) garantit une plume qui répond pleinement aux attentes des clients les plus exigeants.
L’urushi est une matière chaude au toucher et très résistante aux rayures. La couleur vermillon est présente jusqu’au conduit sous la plume ce qui est un geste particulièrement esthétique. Ce stylo est clairement réalisé pour être un compagnon quotidien (une garantie à vie est d'ailleurs adjointe permettant d'intervenir pour tout défaut). Merci à Iguana pour un envoi en 24h et une réception 48h après la commande de ce stylo qui est (très) difficile à se procurer ; entre 3 et 9 mois sont en effet nécessaires pour la production d'une de ces pièces par Namiki.

I love this pen. The slight weight and polished finish feel great in the hand. The nib is wonderful. BB nib is really fun to use. And the pen is beautiful.
