Vostok Europe Vilnelė Quartz Chronograph Watch with Blue Dial.
Limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide. The Vilnelė line takes the name of the small river that runs through the heart of Vilnius past Castle Hill, and the name itself means little wave in Lithuanian. This one times an interval to 30 minutes with the running seconds in their own register, under a domed sapphire crystal. The case measures 39 mm in stainless steel 316L, 11.9 mm deep.
The Miyota JS20 quartz calibre drives it.
The blue dial darkens from the centre outwards, so the hands keep a clean ground where they travel and the colour deepens at the rim. The case is uncoated steel. It is worn on blue leather, and a second strap comes in the box.

What is the Vilnelė?
A small river that runs through the heart of Vilnius and past Castle Hill. Its name means little wave in Lithuanian, and the bezel of this line is cut in a wave to match it. The house has worked out of Vilnius since August 2003—its movements came from Russia until 2014 and have been Japanese since.
How hard is the sapphire crystal?
Synthetic sapphire sits at 9 on the Mohs scale, just under diamond, so the everyday abrasives that mark a mineral crystal leave it alone. The dome carries reflections off to the rim, and the coating takes care of the rest.
Does it wear as big as the diameter suggests?
What decides that is the distance between the lugs, and here it is 46.5 mm. That is the span the case takes across the top of the wrist, and it matters more than the 39 mm of the bezel, which overhangs on either side of it.
Who makes the movement?
Miyota, the movement arm of Citizen in Japan. Vostok Europe fitted Russian movements until 2014 and has used Japanese suppliers since, which is why the case and the assembly are Lithuanian and the quartz calibre inside is Japanese.
