The Vostok Europe N1 Rocket chronograph sets a blue dial under a 4.5 mm thick domed crystal and frames it with a polygonal diver’s bezel.
A 60-minute chronograph
The Miyota 6S21 quartz chronograph times intervals of up to 60 minutes. A heart cam returns the chronograph hands to zero precisely on reset. The dial adds a small seconds hand.
Diver’s bezel and lume
The polygonal unidirectional bezel carries a diver scale, so you can time a dive or any other interval from the moment you set it. Super-LumiNova on the hands, dial, and bezel helps you read the time in low light.
Named for the N1 rocket
The N1 was the Soviet super-heavy rocket developed in the 1960s to carry cosmonauts to the Moon. It had five stages, and its first stage clustered 30 engines burning kerosene and liquid oxygen.
The details
The Japanese-made Miyota 6S21 quartz chronograph movement powers the hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and chronograph.
The 316L stainless steel case measures 46 mm across, 55.4 mm lug to lug, and 16.7 mm thick. A 4.5 mm thick domed K1 crystal, a hardened mineral crystal with anti-reflective coating, covers the blue dial and its brushed metal indexes. The crown and solid case back screw down, and water resistance is rated at 200 meters.
The leather strap measures 22 mm at the lugs and fastens with a buckle. The watch ships in a Vostok Europe paper box.
The Soviet super-heavy launcher developed in the 1960s to carry cosmonauts to the Moon. It had 5 stages, with a cluster of 30 engines burning kerosene and liquid oxygen in the first.
A synthetic crystal that combines the shock resistance of hardened mineral glass with scratch resistance close to that of sapphire. On this watch, the crystal has an anti-reflective coating to improve readability.
The case measures 55.4 mm from lug to lug. That span across the top of the wrist matters more for fit than the 46 mm case diameter.
