Nearly three days of power reserve
The La Joux-Perret G100 is a Swiss self-winding movement, and its rotor winds the mainspring as you wear the watch. Fully wound, the watch can sit off the wrist for nearly three days before it stops.
Luminous hands, fixed bezel
Luminous hands and indexes stand out against the dial and help you read the time in low light. A fixed brushed steel bezel frames the dial.
From Ibach-Schwyz to Delémont
Victorinox traces its roots to 1884, when Karl Elsener opened a cutler’s workshop in Ibach-Schwyz. Since 2016, the company has designed, engineered, and assembled its watches at the Watch Competence Center in Delémont, where every watch is individually tested for water resistance.
The details
The Swiss La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement powers the hours, minutes, seconds, and date and provides a 68-hour power reserve. The movement has 24 jewels and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour.
The stainless steel case measures 39 mm across and 12 mm thick, and the watch weighs 164 grams. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, and the case back screws in. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters, enough for swimming and snorkeling.
The steel bracelet, 21 mm at the lugs, fastens with a folding clasp. The watch is made in Switzerland.

What is the power reserve?
About 68 hours when fully wound. Daily wear keeps the mainspring wound. After a longer period off the wrist, a few turns of the crown will restart it.
Can I swim with it?
Yes. It is water resistant to 100 meters, which Victorinox rates for swimming and snorkeling but not for scuba diving. Keep the crown fully pushed in, and rinse the watch in fresh water after swimming in the ocean.
How does it differ from V242057?
V242057 comes on a black rubber strap with a deployant clasp and weighs 108 grams. Both share the brushed black dial, the 39 mm case, and the La Joux-Perret G100 movement.
