Precision-machined brass, rosewood, braided wire, and polycarbonate recall Marconi's early wireless apparatus, accented with rose-gold finishes. The tribute honors the wireless-telegraphy pioneer and Nobel Prize winner through the equipment of his era.
A steel-wire clip accompanies a resin dome that clicks like a telegraph key. Stainless steel components and trim add to the instrument-like appearance. The custom-engraved 18k gold nib has a rose-gold finish, while a concealed Power-Push mechanism fills the fountain pen with bottled ink.
The edition marks the 150th anniversary of Guglielmo Marconi's birth and is limited to 150 fountain pens. Its wooden display cabinet incorporates steel plates, mirrors, and an acrylic lid to house the components, accompanied by a 50 ml ink bottle.
Made in Italy, the pen measures 162 mm capped and 20 mm across the barrel. Its weight with the cap is 136 g.
