Just in time for the new FIFA 2022 season, Montegrappa launches the new F1 Speed : Podium Black. F1® Speed - Podium Black shares most of the features of the 2021 F1® Speed - Racing Red, but the visual and emotional differences are strong. As the name suggests, this model adopts the aesthetic of a bold and aggressive champion, with high-gloss gold-plated brass trim that contrasts sharply with the satin finish of its stablemate. As before, the main elements are carbon fibre and brass, this time coated with layers of gloss black lacquer. The resin spacer rings were removed and replaced with a wider cap band, while the sterling silver wheel hub cap inlay is now gold plated. All other details remain as before, including the design's signature 3D machined step and carbonised exhaust pipe. The edition is limited to 372 units, referring to the highest speed ever recorded in a Formula 1 race.
