Montblanc's new Patron of Art collection pays tribute to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The barrel of the pen comes with pearl white lacquer and a translucent mint green lacquer cap with a Victorian motif underneath. The details are gold plated. The shape of the clip reflects her scepter, while the dark green synthetic stone is an homage to her engagement ring. The top of the cap is inspired by a royal crown and decorated with the Montblanc emblem. While the cap ring is engraved with Queen Victoria's quote "I will be good". As a tribute to Victoria's nickname, "the Rose of England", the hand-crafted 750 gold nib is engraved with a rose. With emblematic gold and emblematic gold coating, Montblanc alludes to the illuminated shade of yellow gold that has become a popular color for the Maison's writing instruments.
