So this is the first time I have a pen that pulls ink from a bottle, as opposed to a cartridge, so I really don’t know how it compairs. However the ink is great, it’s not jet black like a gel pen but it seems to dry fairly quickly. The bottle holds quite a lot of ink and is designed in such a way as to help you get all the ink out of it. So far I would buy it again!
New to Aurora. This fountain pen is superb by all means, including ink flow and writing.

Pilot Custom Heritage 91 Fountain Pen, Resin, Chrome, Orange, NH91R A very good pen for those getting their first gold nib. It has a lovely buttery/soft feel on the page and a comfortable grip allowing for longer writing sessions. I'm using it with Pilot ink and had no issues, steady flow and no smudges. The colour is a bit coral in sun but it shifts darker and richer with lower light. I enjoy watching that subtle change.
Excellent customer service and the pen was delivered much sooner than initially suggested. I'll be back!
