Vostok Europe Jurgis Kairys Unlimited Aerobatics Chronograph draws on the pilot’s SU-31, pairing a cockpit-style black dial with a red silicone strap.
Lithuanian aerobatic pilot and aeronautical engineer Jurgis Kairys helped develop this edition, bringing the colors of his SU-31 aircraft to the watch. Kairys is a multiple World Grand Prix of Aerobatics champion, and the dial follows a cockpit-inspired layout.
The black dial uses contrasting hour markers and Super-LumiNova on the hands and markers. A telemeter scale on the prominent inner ring estimates distance from the delay between a visible event and its sound.
A Japanese Miyota 6S21 quartz movement supplies the time, date, and 60-minute chronograph, with a separate small seconds display. Black PVD coats the 316L stainless steel case, which measures 46 mm across and 16.5 mm thick. A domed K1 crystal with anti-reflective coating covers the dial, and the solid back screws down. Water resistance is rated at 20 atm.
The red silicone strap measures 22 mm at the lugs and closes with a buckle. Special packaging and an aviation-style keychain accompany the watch. Production is limited to 500 individually numbered watches.

K1 is reinforced mineral glass chosen for impact resistance. Sapphire is harder and more resistant to scratches, so the two materials have different strengths. The anti-reflective coating on this watch’s K1 crystal reduces glare.
The 46 mm diameter describes the width of the case. Its 54.7 mm lug-to-lug measurement runs in the other direction, from the tip of one lug to the tip of the opposite lug. That longer measurement describes how far the case extends along the wrist, which the diameter alone does not show.
Vostok Europe assembles the watch in Vilnius, Lithuania, using a Japanese movement from Miyota. Founded in August 2003, the company began using Japanese movements in 2010 and stopped importing Russian movements in 2014.
It estimates distance from the delay between a visible event and the arrival of its sound. The chronograph times that delay, and the telemeter converts the elapsed time into an approximate distance.
