Venezianico Arsenale Moissanite pairs a pink mother-of-pearl dial with hand-set baguette-cut stones in a compact 37 mm steel case.
Laboratory-grown moissanites trace the knurled bezel and mark the hours. Their elongated baguette cut follows the watch’s straight lines, while the mother-of-pearl dial brings softer, shifting reflections beneath them. Each stone is positioned and secured individually to keep the rows aligned and the setting continuous across the metal.
The project was developed with Davide Cestonaro, a master goldsmith from the Vicenza school with more than 40 years of experience in fine jewelry and gem setting. Venice’s history as a trading center for gemstones and decorative arts provides the setting for that collaboration. The straight baguette cuts bring the jewelry work into the Arsenale’s angular design.
The 316L stainless steel case measures 37 mm across, 41.10 mm from lug to lug, and 9 mm thick including the anti-reflective sapphire crystal. A Japanese Miyota 9039 automatic movement displays hours, minutes, and seconds without a date. The crown screws down, and water resistance is rated at 5 atm.
An integrated Canova Concept™ steel bracelet continues the case’s lines and fastens with a folding clasp. The collection takes its name from Venice’s historic Arsenale shipyard.
The name comes from the Arsenale, the Venetian Republic’s shipyard. Its specialized workshops and sequential assembly methods supported the fleet long before modern factories. That history of organized metalworking is the starting point for the collection’s contemporary case design.
No. The mother-of-pearl surface has natural variations in pattern and tone, so the photograph illustrates the model rather than the exact dial you will receive.
No. They are laboratory-grown moissanites, a different gemstone from diamond, cut into elongated baguettes. Each is set individually into the bezel or hour markers. Moissanite has a hardness of 9.25 on the Mohs scale and strong light dispersion.
Wind it by hand before putting it on. Venezianico recommends about 20–30 turns of the crown to provide an initial reserve. If the crown screws down, unscrew it before winding and secure it afterward. The rotor replenishes the reserve as you wear the watch, though light activity may not supply enough energy to keep it running.
Sapphire’s hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale makes it highly resistant to everyday scratches. It can still be scratched by harder materials, and a hard impact can chip or crack it, especially at an edge.
