U-Boat U-65 PVD Turquoise pairs a three-level gray metal dial with oil immersion and a hyper-domed sapphire crystal, with no side crown.
Three layers of skeletonized gray metal give the dial its relief, with turquoise Super-LumiNova on the numerals, markers, and arrow-shaped hands. Above them, the hyper-domed sapphire measures 13.2 mm high and is 3 mm thick. Oil fills the space around the dial, deepening the color and making the layers appear closer to the glass.
The Swiss Ronda 756 quartz movement runs in the oil bath and displays hours and minutes. A visible air bubble leaves room for temperature-related changes in the oil’s volume. The 44 mm case is 316L stainless steel with a black PVD finish, with no crown on its side. Time is adjusted using a button on the back and the supplied setting tool. The Locking Ring System provides separate access for battery replacement.
Pivoting lugs let the black silicone strap follow the wrist from its attachment at the case. It measures 22 mm at the watch and tapers to 20 mm at the PVD-coated steel pin buckle. Water resistance is rated at 5 atm.

How do I set the time with the rear button?
Use the supplied setting tool to press the button on the back. A press of up to 2 seconds advances minutes; holding it for 2–4 seconds advances hours. Hold it for more than 4 seconds for continuous advancement, then release it at the desired time.
Why does a bubble move across the dial?
The bubble is an intentional part of the oil-filled construction. It leaves room for the oil to change volume with temperature and moves as the watch changes position.
Does the skeletonized dial show a mechanical movement?
The gray dial is made from three stacked metal layers. Its openings and relief belong to that construction; timekeeping comes from a separate, battery-powered Ronda 756 quartz movement.
What do the movable lugs do?
They pivot at the case, letting the strap change angle as it wraps around your wrist. This movement takes place at the attachment rather than within the strap itself.
