Vostok Europe N1 Rocket Automatic GMT Watch with Black Dial.
The N1 Rocket line is named for the Soviet super-heavy launcher built to carry cosmonauts to the Moon, Mars and Venus on 5 stages, the first a cluster of 30 engines. The N1 Rocket GMT carries a 4th hand that turns once in 24 hours for a 2nd time zone. The case measures 46 mm in stainless steel 316L, 17 mm deep.
The TMI NH34 automatic GMT calibre, made in Japan, drives hours, minutes, seconds and date, beneath a hardened K1 crystal with anti-reflective coating. A full wind holds 41 hours. The crown screws down, the case back opens on the movement, and the polygonal bezel turns in 1 direction.
The black dial sits in a case finished in black PVD. Super-LumiNova coats the hands, the dial and the bezel. The watch is fitted with a leather strap, 22 mm at the lugs, closed by a buckle.

What was the N1 rocket?
The Soviet super-heavy launcher built to carry cosmonauts to the Moon, Mars and Venus and to lift large space stations into orbit. It stood on 5 stages, and the first was a cluster of 30 engines burning kerosene and liquid oxygen. Vostok Europe has built its watches in Vilnius, Lithuania, since August 2003, on Russian movements until 2014 and Japanese movements since.
How do you read the second time zone?
A 4th hand turns once every 24 hours against a 24-hour track, independent of the hour hand, so home time reads off the same dial as local time.
What can you see through the case back?
The movement from the bridge side, with the rotor that winds the mainspring as the wrist moves and the balance swinging beside it.
What is K1 crystal?
A synthetic crystal that combines the shock resistance of hardened mineral glass with a scratch resistance close to sapphire. On these cases it carries an anti-reflective coating for readability.
Does it wear as big as the diameter suggests?
The distance between the lugs decides that, and here it is 55.4 mm. That span sits across the top of the wrist and matters more than the 46 mm of the case.
