Namiki Nippon Art Mount Fuji and Wave Fountain Pen in monte fuji and wave.
A hand-turned maki-e body with gold trim with Monte Fuji and Wave urushi lacquer. Nippon Art draws its subjects on a black lacquered background in Hira Maki-e or flat maki-e. The workshop behind them is Kokkokai formed in 1931 around Gonroku Matsuda who went on to be named a living national treasure and whose name or that of the individual artisan is inscribed on the piece. The lacquer is applied by hand with the tame-nuri technique, so each piece is unique in its grain. It mounts a Namiki nib in 14k gold, filled by cartridge / converter and a screw-on cap. In the hand, measures 142.2 mm capped with a body 11.8 mm in diameter. Hand-made piece, with official Namiki warranty.
The main drawing of this piece is a fascinating composition where three fishing boats battle a turbulent sea under the imposing presence of Mount Fuji, represented in the background at the center of the scene. This Namiki Nippon Art Mount Fuji and Wave fountain pen features striking Maki-e decoration and an efficient 14k solid gold nib available in various thicknesses. As for its presentation, the fountain pen comes in a beautiful wooden case with a padded velvet bed inside.

Après un double envoi, dû à une erreur d'article, et magnifiquement traité par le service clientèle. Que je remercie ici pour l'excellente communication et le service rapide et parfait. J'ai enfin reçu ce magnifique stylo Namiki. Le maki-e est superbe, le travail de la laque est magnifique. Le stylo est léger (un peu trop), à la bonne taille pour ma main. La plume F est plus petite qu'une plume européenne F et semble être même légèrement plus fine qu'une EF. Mais l'écriture est superbe, fluide et l'encre Namiki est très dense. Le résultat est très beau. A tester avec une plume flexible... Un autre achat certainement sur votre site bientôt.

Siendo neófito en el tema de plumas, y después de las explicaciones recibidas, del equipo de IGUANA, me decidí por una pluma fuera de la lógica, para un principiante. Una Namiki, cierto es que la Nippon Arts, es la mas económica, pero....Es EXCEPCIONAL, de una calidad exquisita, calidez en la mano que impresiona. Y al escribir fluye...la noto como si siempre hubiese estado.
No será la ultima Namiki que adquiera en IGUANA.
