Is it water resistant?
Its 5 atm rating covers splashes, rain, and an occasional shower; it is not intended for swimming.
How do you read a single-hand watch?
The hand moves around a scale marked every 5 minutes, with a longer line for the half hour and two for the quarters, allowing you to read the time almost to the minute at a glance. This follows the original clock principle. From sundials to the mid-18th century, every clock had a single hand; tower clocks from Westminster Abbey to Toledo Cathedral retain it. MeisterSinger revived the approach in Münster in 2001, with its 25th anniversary in 2026.
Does it need a battery?
No. Its automatic movement winds with the motion of your wrist.
Can the strap be changed?
Yes. The leather strap can be replaced with another of the same lug width.
How is it protected against shocks?
It features the Incabloc shock-absorbing system.
