A turned resin body with steel trim with a Chartres Blue finish, with a 14k gold nib. Every Century is the same pen underneath: one turned resin body of the same size and the same weight across the whole line so what changes from one piece to the next is the finish and not the way it sits in your hand. It writes with a Platinum nib in 14k gold, filled by cartridge / converter. For reference, measures 139.5 mm capped with a body 16 mm in diameter. Finished with a clip gold plated. The new #3776 CENTURY fountain pen series employs the method of etching to mark the logornon the cap ring. Etching is an elaborate method that forms deep engraving into the unprotected parts of a metalrnusing a fluid by masking the logo to create a three-dimensional effect. It is a very time-consuming process but ensures high quality and exceptional look of the #3776 CENTURY fountain pens. Yes. Every Century measures 139.5 mm closed and 119 mm uncapped and weighs 20 g so the balance in the hand is the same whichever finish you choose.
How is the resin cared for?
Wipe it with a soft slightly damp cloth, avoiding solvents and abrasive products.
Is the colour uniform across the whole production?
Yes, the resin is factory-dyed in the same tone for the entire series.
