Pilot Falcon Fountain Pen in black.
A turned lacquer body with silver trim. The line was drawn in 1978 around one goal: writing Japanese characters cleanly. The nib is what gives it its name: it swells at the centre and narrows towards the point like a bird of prey's beak, and that profile is why buyers outside Japan started calling it the Falcon. It writes with a Pilot nib in 14k gold, filled by cartridge / converter and a screw-on cap. In the hand, measures 139 mm capped with a body 12.4 mm in diameter. Official Pilot product, backed by the manufacturer's warranty.
This black Pilot Falcon fountain pen features a flexible 14k gold nib plated with rhodium, offering stroke variation as the writing pressure changes. The smoothness of the nib allows for daily writing without the need for flexing. If you prefer to showcase line variation, you only need to increase the writing pressure on the downward strokes. Crafted with glossy lacquer, this Falcon fountain pen boasts a metallic black color, making it a unique piece. It includes rhodium details that complement the black hue.
