The 100 Years Zeppelin edition marks the centenary of the first Zeppelin flight of 1900 with the layout of a pilot’s chronograph. The 100 Years Zeppelin Chronograph Alarm combines a chronograph with an alarm. The case, in stainless steel, measures 42 mm across and 12 mm thick.
A Swiss Ronda 5130.D quartz movement powers the small seconds and the date.
White numerals and indices mark the green dial, with Superluminova on the hands and the indices, framed by tachymeter and telemeter scales. A Milanese mesh bracelet, measuring 22 mm at the lugs, secures the watch with a folding clasp.

What does the 100 Years edition mark?
The centenary of the first Zeppelin flight, made by the LZ 1 over Lake Constance in 1900. The dials take the layout of the pilot’s chronographs of the airship era.
Where is it made?
In Germany, at the Zeppelin in-house production in Ruhla, Thuringia. The movement comes from a Swiss or a Japanese maker, and the specification identifies it.
What is the telemeter scale for?
It reads the distance to something you both see and hear, such as a lightning strike. Start the chronograph at the flash and stop it at the thunder, and the scale converts the interval to distance.
What is the tachymeter scale for?
It converts elapsed time into speed over a known distance. Start the chronograph at the beginning of a measured mile and stop it at the end, and the scale gives the average speed.
How does the alarm work on a quartz movement?
A separate hand sets the desired time, and a small piezo element sounds at that moment, powered by the same cell as the movement.
