Bauhaus Classic Regulator Automatic Watch with Green Dial.
The Classic line follows the Bauhaus school, founded in Weimar in 1919, in reducing form and colour to the essentials on polished cases. This Classic Regulator separates the hands, with the hours in a subdial near 12 o’clock and the seconds in another at 6. The case measures 41 mm in stainless steel, 12 mm deep.
The Swiss Sellita SW266 automatic calibre drives a date display and is protected by K1 safety mineral glass. A see-through case back shows the rotor that winds its 42-hour power reserve.
Silver numerals and indices mark the dark green dial, with a luminous hand. A brown leather strap, 20 mm at the lugs, closes on a pin buckle.

Why is the brand called Bauhaus?
Its watches are assembled in Ruhla, Thuringia, in a building raised in the Bauhaus style in 1929 to designs by the Jena architects Schreiter & Schlag. The school moved from Weimar to Dessau in 1925 and was dissolved in 1933 by its last director, Mies van der Rohe.
Where is it made?
In Ruhla, Thuringia, where precision parts have been made since 1862 and watches since 1892, and where the VEB Uhrenwerk Ruhla once built millions of watches. POINTtec, the family company founded in 1987 that designs every model in-house, assembles them in its own listed Bauhaus building of 1929, home also to the Ruhla watch museum. The movement is Swiss.
What is a regulator dial?
A layout that gives each hand its own place. The minutes sit on the long central hand, the hours in a subdial near 12 o’clock and the seconds in another at 6.
Can I swim with it?
The case is rated 5 bar, and the leather strap sets the limit — water and sweat soak into leather and break it down. Keep it to rain and hand-washing, and fit a rubber or metal strap of the same lug width before swimming.
How long does it keep going off the wrist?
About 42 hours from a full wind. Daily wear keeps it wound, and after a longer rest about 15 turns of the crown restart it.
