Venezianico Arsenale Platino pairs a rippled, platinum-plated dial with the Swiss V3250 automatic movement in a 40 mm integrated-bracelet watch.
The silver dial begins as a brass disc, tumbled to create an irregular, rippled texture and then polished before receiving a galvanic layer of platinum. The coating follows the surface rather than concealing it, so light picks out the uneven texture. The logo and hour markers are applied by hand, with Swiss-made BGW9 Super-LumiNova on the hands and markers.
The choice of platinum has a Venetian connection of its own. In 1557, physician and humanist Giulio Cesare Scaliger, active in the Venetian Republic, described an unfamiliar metal that resisted melting. On this watch, a fine platinum layer covers the textured brass dial; the case remains stainless steel.
Soprod manufactures the V3250 in Switzerland on its M100 base. The no-date, three-hand automatic has 25 jewels, Incabloc shock protection, a 42-hour power reserve, and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Sandblasted bridges and a rhodium-plated skeletonized rotor are visible through a sapphire exhibition back secured by six screws. Master watchmaker Daniele Zorzetto assembles the watch at Venezianico’s Italian atelier and regulates the movement to the brand’s stated -4/+6 seconds per day.
The 316L stainless steel case measures 40 mm across, 44 mm from lug to lug, and 9.95 mm thick. Its mirror-polished knurled bezel recalls the crenellations of the Arsenale towers. Vertical brushing and polished bevels continue across the integrated Canova Concept™ bracelet, which closes with a folding clasp. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal covers the dial, and water resistance is rated at 5 atm.
The name comes from the Arsenale, the Venetian Republic’s shipyard. Its specialized workshops and sequential assembly methods supported the fleet long before modern factories. That history of organized metalworking is the starting point for the collection’s contemporary case design.
Sapphire’s hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale makes it highly resistant to everyday scratches. It can still be scratched by harder materials, and a hard impact can chip or crack it, especially at an edge.

No. It has a brass base textured by tumbling and finished with a galvanic platinum coating. The fine layer follows the rippled surface, preserving its texture beneath the silver-colored finish.
