Briston Clubmaster Regatta Quartz Chronograph Watch with Brown Dial.
Clubmaster Regatta brings the world of sailing into the cambered square Clubmaster case, with a counter at 9 o’clock that follows the regatta start periods. Its chronograph stops at 20 minutes, and a nautical tachymeter in miles sits on the inner ring. In cellulose acetate and stainless steel, the case measures 42 mm across and 12.8 mm thick.
A VK83 meca-quartz movement keeps time by quartz and powers the chronograph through a mechanical module beneath a K1 mineral crystal. The crown screws down, and the 24-hour indication sits at 3 o’clock.
The dial is walnut wood, with navy blue counters, polished steel hands with white inserts and red chronograph hands. Briston delivers it on a navy blue NATO strap, 20 mm wide, secured by polished steel buckles and loops.

Who makes Briston watches?
Briston is an independent French watch brand founded by Brice Jaunet in 2013. Its first collection, the Clubmaster, brought tortoiseshell acetate, until then used in eyewear, to the watch case.
How does the regatta counter work?
The counter at 9 o’clock follows the successive periods of a regatta start, and the chronograph measures intervals of up to 20 minutes before stopping.
What is a meca-quartz movement?
A hybrid movement that keeps time by quartz and drives the chronograph through a mechanical module, which gives the pushers and the reset a mechanical feel.
Can it go out on the water?
Rated to 20 ATM, or 200 m, with a crown that screws down. Screw it down before any contact with water and leave the pushers still while wet.
How long does the battery last?
About 2 to 3 years, according to the Briston manual. Continuous use of the chronograph shortens it considerably.
