Bauhaus Aviation G38 Automatic Day-Date Watch with Beige Dial.
Aviation G38 sets silver numerals that glow at night on every dial of the series, inside polished pilot’s watch cases. The G38 Day-Date reads the day of the week beside the date. The case measures 42 mm in stainless steel, 14 mm deep.
Its automatic Miyota 8205 runs 40 hours on a full wind. A see-through case back shows the rotor at work. After a spell off the wrist, about 15 turns of the crown restart it.
Silver numerals keep both windows legible after dark. Its beige dial sets off silver numerals against a brown strap.

What kind of watch is the Aviation G38?
An analogue pilot’s watch from the Aviation line, with silver numerals and indices that glow at night and luminous hands on every dial of the series.
Where is it made?
In Ruhla, Thuringia, where precision parts have been made since 1862 and watches since 1892, and where the VEB Uhrenwerk Ruhla once built millions of watches. POINTtec, the family company founded in 1987 that designs every model in-house, assembles them in its own listed Bauhaus building of 1929, home also to the Ruhla watch museum. The movement is Japanese.
Can I swim with it?
Rated 10 bar, it suits swimming and water activities. Keep the crown pushed home, leave the pushers untouched in water and rinse it in fresh water after the sea.
How long does it run off the wrist?
About 40 hours from a full wind. Daily wear keeps it wound, and after a longer rest about 15 turns of the crown restart it.
What is K1 mineral glass?
A specially hardened mineral glass that the house chooses for its scratch resistance in daily wear. It is tougher than standard mineral glass, while sapphire remains harder still.
