This month our blog will be about Special Editions of different watchmaking and writing brands. Each week we will choose a Brand and we will explain what makes these unique pieces so special. This time, we will show you some Special Edition watches of Seiko, the renowned Japanese house.
After more than 130 years, Seiko keeps on looking for what its founder yearned for so much: the perfection in everything they do. Before seeing the automatic watches selection, we will explain what makes these special editions special.
Seiko has lines in which they include these special editions: Prospex and Presage. The Prospex line, with the best technology on divers’ watches, started in 1968 with the first "high-beat" watch, that has been reinterpreted with the highest watchmaking technology. On the other hand, The Presage line is based on the searching of a unique beauty and a reliable performance.

Inspired by the lush green of Yakushima' s primeval cedar forests, Japan' s first Natural World Heritage site, which diving sites, like our Prospex watches, are renowned for their exceptional visibility.
SEIKO PROSPEX AUTOMATIC WATCH, BLACK
In 1968, Seiko’s engineers raised the bar with a hi-beat diver’s watch with 300 meter water resistance. The 1968 original was for air diving while this new re-creation is specified for saturation diving.
SEIKO PROSPEX SAVE THE OCEAN AUTOMATIC WATCH
Seiko Prospex Save the Ocean collection is the result of a collaboration with Fabien Cousteau, Ocean Learning Centre founder. Part of these watches’ earnings will be donated to the Centre, that works in the awareness-raising and the protection of the oceans and the sea world species that are in danger of extinction.
