There is a wide variety in terms of size and weight in fountain pens.

Hello everyone and welcome back to the channel. Today we are going to talk a little about the size of the weight of the feathers. The moment of choosing a graphic style pen is quite complex, we begin to think about the design if we like the plugin it has, the colors, and mainly if it is comfortable for the use we want to give it. And for that we refer to the size and weight of it, there is a great variety in terms of size and weight in fountain pens.

For example, the Nakaya Desk Aka Tamenuri, the very long pen, approximately 200 millimeters; but nevertheless, due to its design that tapers at the tip, it is very comfortable and rests perfectly on the fold of the thumb. It also weighs only 26 grams, making it an ideal pen to carry.

In contrast, the Cigar Piccolo measures only 130 millimeters but weighs around 20 grams as well. What Nakaya pens have, in my opinion, is that the cap cannot be removed at the back, because the urushi lacquer scratches and that would be a pity, since it is a handmade work… So the length of the Capless body pen is basically what it is. For a slightly smaller hand, this is ideal, it is not so comfortable for me.

Moving on to the slightly smaller sizes, Sailor recently launched the new Rencontre line. That talks about the reunion between acrylic resin and marble. The truth is that if you think about it from a travel point of view, it is very comfortable, ideal, because the pen measures only 110 millimeters and weighs 16 grams, super comfortable to carry. I personally find it adorable, however, I don't see it as completely comfortable because my hand is much larger than the size of the pen itself.

Also, I like feathers with a good bearing like this Montegrappa Bijo-To-Yaju.

This pen really laughs in the face of all these with its 126 grams of weight. It is a pen that has the weight, however, very well distributed throughout the pen since the main reason for its high weight is the material used and the internal piston mechanism. Its 18 k nib. I don't know if you knew that this pen tells the story of Beauty and the Beast, so all its details made of silver covered in gold represent different moments in history.

We can also see it in the small footrest Sultan the puppy from Beauty and the Beast where we can pose it to also decorate our desk.

And to close, we go with the most original and smallest pen I've ever seen. which is the gnome Montegrappa. The Montegrappa gnome is really a feather baby, you can keep it in a pocket, in your bag, anywhere and you won't even know you're carrying it with you. This pen is also made of a very heavy material, so it does not rotate once you put it on the table, very practical, very comfortable. And also the system that it has that can be hooked on the back, creates it in a standard size pen, which is why it is super comfortable for people with slightly wider hands. But it can still be used without clipping for people with slightly smaller hands. It is an ideal pen for all tastes, for daily travel, for long writing sessions, and most of all to admire for its adorable size.

So there are no more excuses, writing is a universe, a universe where you will find the size and weight and the pen you want. And don't waste any more time and go find your ideal pen. Subscribe to our channel and see you next time.
