The Namiki Yukari Royale Frog features golden frogs on black lacquer. The word "frog" in Japanese (kaeru) is pronounced the same as the word "return." This characteristic makes it a protective animal for travelers (often in the form of an amulet) and a symbol of hospitality. It is also a traditional symbol of fertility, thanks to the numerous offspring it can have at once, and over time, it has become an amulet for luck, age, happiness, money, etc. It is also considered a symbol that attracts health (it was the emblem of tax collectors in feudal times). And lastly, it represents resurrection and metamorphosis, the perpetual transformation of man.
