Lighters play an essential role in Dunhill’s history. In 1924, Alfred Dunhill invented the first lighter that could be operated with one hand – the “Unique” (the very first prototype of this lighter was made using a Coleman’s Mustard tin as the base!). Since then, Dunhill has continuously innovated and delivered the very best in lighters. Elvis Presley and Pablo Picasso are counted amongst those who used a Dunhill lighter.
